A. Harry Potter, by JK Rowling
B. Princess Academy, by Shannon Hale
C. Fangirl, by Rainbow Rowell
D. Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Bronte

Hmm, of these books, I've read B, D, E, and F, but I can't say that I have a traditional "back to school book." Of course, that may be partly because I'm homeschooled. :) And I don't think Jane Eyre or A Little Princess would get me excited for school so much as making me dread it. :)

Great points, Brenna. Thanks for commenting! :-)
DeleteFun idea, Laura! I don't think I have any specific books that got me psyched for the school year, but these are some excellent options. I did always enjoy the start of a new school year in the Harry Potter books, and Fangirl brought back some great (and some awkward) college memories :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Laurie! Fangirl is a big one for me too. Such a fun school book. :)
